Roberta Caviglia

After years of working as an architect in São Paulo and having received an Architectural Degree from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), Roberta Caviglia decided to focus her career on the visual arts. In 2010, she completed her training in photography and arts at the Escola Panamericana de Arte, Sao Paulo, and has since developed a preference for abstract paintings.

Often deploying highly gestural strokes and transparencies, Caviglia uses color as if to imagine liquid & dynamic landscapes. She explores the spaces of the canvas by combining textured patterns and collage and has also created exquisite mono-type prints. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in São Paulo, New York, Miami and across Florida.
